Bracknell Forest Mayor, Councillor Alvin Finch and Deputy Bracknell Town Mayor, Councillor Roger Meakes, officially opened The Lexicon’s first ever Christmas market, today (19 November).

Located in Bull Square and the top of the High Street, the festive market, which is hosted in 15 pretty wooden chalets, will be open every day until Christmas Eve.

The Mayor, Councillor Alvin Finch said:

“It gave me great pleasure to officially open The Lexicon’s first ever festive market today. It truly feels like Christmas is just around the corner and the market has added a wonderful atmosphere to our much loved town centre.

“I, for one, am excited to sample all that the market has to offer and I’m sure it will add something extra special to our town centre this Christmas.”

Visitors to The Lexicon will find a fabulous array of festive food and drink, including German bratwurst and cheese alongside a range of handcrafted Christmas gifts and decorations at the market.

Deputy Bracknell Town Mayor, Councillor Roger Meakes, said:

“The Lexicon’s festive market adds an additional touch of Christmas cheer to the town centre. The individual chalets offer something truly seasonal for visitors to enjoy.”
