Bracknell Forest Council will be launching an electronic version of its residents’ magazine Town & Country in late January 2019.
The monthly e-newsletter, called Town & Country Extra, will bring residents, businesses and visitors up-to-date on the council’s latest news and events. It will complement the printed flagship edition, which will still be sent to residents three times a year.
The magazine will be emailed out to subscribers once a month and will cover everything from the latest news to future events, videos, consultations and promotions from across the council.
Residents can now sign up for the magazine, which is due to hit inboxes at the end of January, by signing up with their email address and then selecting Town & Country Extra (select 'add subscriptions' and Town & Country Extra is listed under 'alerts and news').
Cllr Iain McCracken, Executive Member for Culture, Resources and Public Protection, said:
“Town & Country has been providing residents with updates on council news and events for many years and continues to be a popular way for people to understand what’s going on in their local area as well as where their council tax money is spent.
“We know the way in which people find out information is changing and while we’ll still continue to bring residents the newspaper three times a year, we will also bring bite sized, more regular snippets straight to people’s inboxes via the electronic Town & Country Extra.
“You can sign up now for the first edition, which is due to launch at the end of January.”
