Crowthorne Road/ Ringmead bus gate: update 7 January 2019
Work to repair a large hole in the road near to the bus gate at the junction of Ringmead/ Crowthorne Road is currently taking place by South East Water engineers.
The hole, which is the result of a burst water main, has made it unsafe for vehicles to use. Therefore, the 171/172 and 4 service will be unable to use the bus gate for the time being, so diversions are in place. The 194 will run as normal.
Bus passengers are urged to check with Courtney Buses and Reading Buses before they travel for the latest information.
The traffic lights at the bus gate are working and so once the road is made safe, buses will be able to use the gate as normal.
