Local community donates personal protective equipment

Bracknell Forest businesses, community groups, schools and residents have donated hundreds of items of personal protective equipment (PPE) over the past few days.

We are still keen to hear from community groups and businesses which may be able to donate PPE.

Residents asked not to light bonfires

Following a number of complaints from residents regarding bonfires, we are asking residents to please refrain from lighting bonfires.

Instead use the brown bin garden waste collection service, which is re-starting on Monday 6 April.

With warmer weather expected over the coming days, we are reminding residents that while our parks and open spaces remain open for use, they are asked to use these facilities responsibly, adhering to current government advice.

Bracknell Forest Community Response Volunteers took to the streets to begin delivering food supplies to medically vulnerable residents over the weekend, supporting the council with its response to the coronavirus pandemic.
