Residents asked not to light bonfires

Picture of a bonfire and garden waste

We are aware a number of residents have complained about people lighting bonfires this weekend. We would like to ask everyone to consider their neighbours and the current situation with coronavirus, which is essentially a respiratory disease.

We therefore ask residents not to light bonfires.

We have been working with its refuse collection partner, SUEZ, to transfer waste collectors and drivers from other contracts to Bracknell Forest and we are able therefore able to re-start garden waste collections as of Monday 6 April. This will allow residents to dispose of their garden waste without causing environmental health issues for their neighbours.

Please put your waste out on your usual collection day by 6:30am.

Please be aware, this service is still subject to staffing levels and is being reviewed daily.
