We’d like to say Eid Mubarak to all residents celebrating this weekend. We wish you a very happy and peaceful Eid.
Eid Al-Fitr, the celebration at the end of Ramadan, is due to be marked by Muslims across the world on 23 or 24 May, subject to the sighting of the new moon.
With the UK having COVID-19 restrictions in place since 23 March and the holy month of Ramadan having been observed at home, the Muslim Council of Britain has issued guidance on how to safely celebrate Eid in line with the COVID-19 restrictions in place in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
For more information on how to celebrate at home, visit The Muslim Council of Britain website.
