Splash out to help out at Coral Reef

Coral Reef Waterworld is inviting everyone to have a splashing time this September and October, by announcing a 50% discount on certain days of the month.

Coral Reef Waterworld is one of the largest interactive waterparks in England.

It is offering 50% off in September and October on:

  • Wednesdays and Thursdays
  • from 3:30pm to 8:45pm

To keep visitors safe, a variety of measures have been in place at the waterpark in line with government guidance. This includes reducing the number of visitors to a third of the usual capacity.

A one-way system is in place throughout the facility and lifeguards are making sure visitors follow social distancing measures. Full details on the reopening measures can be found on the Everyone Active website.

Craig Flippance, Duty Manager at Coral Reef Waterworld, said:

“After a successful reopening at Coral Reef, we’ve decided to thank our customers for their support with an exciting ‘splash out to help out’ half price offer.

“All of our peak sessions are half price on Wednesdays and Thursdays in September, which means a family ticket is only £23! Our sessions are proving very popular, so we encourage anyone wanting to come along, to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

“We are aware of the latest government announcement on social gatherings and at present none of these changes affect the operation of our leisure facilities, including Coral Reef. We will of course keep customers updated via our website and Facebook page.”

Visitors will feel reassured to know that Coral Reef holds the ‘We’re Good to Go’ Industry Standard mark. This means the centre is up to date with government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, has a risk assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

Cllr John Harrison, Executive Member for Culture, Delivery and Public Protection, said:

“With Coral Reef Waterworld having the ‘We’re Good to Go’ mark and a range of safety measures in place, visitors can rest assured the Coral Reef team is committed to ensuring the waterpark remains safe.

“I hope families will make the most of this great offer and dive into the Coral Reef experience this month.”
