Take a moment to remember

Today, 11 November, marks Armistice Day, also known as Remembrance Day.

It marks the day World War One ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918.

We welcome you to join us in a two-minute silence this morning at 11am, remembering all those who have risked their lives for our freedom.

You may wish to commemorate by watching our Remembrance Day Service with Borough Mayor, Cllr Ash Merry. If you start the video at 10:56am then the virtual two-minute silence will begin at 11am.

Lest We Forget.
