Bracknell Forest to move to tier 4

Coronavirus representation

Following the government announcement this afternoon, Bracknell Forest will move into tier 4 from tomorrow, Sunday 20 December.

Cases have continued to rise drastically due to a new variant of the virus.

This means significant changes in the things Bracknell Forest residents can and can’t do from midnight.

Full guidance on tier 4 is still being published. We will provide updates as soon as possible.

As stated by the Prime Minister, Christmas can not go ahead as planned. Bracknell Forest residents must not create a Christmas bubble from 23 to 27 December. You should only celebrate with your household or support bubble.

The new variant of the virus is 70% more transmissible, we must follow these rules and reduce all social contact.

Stay at home and protect our borough.
