Free webinars to help businesses reopen safely

The Government’s plan to gradually ease lockdown restrictions means that non-essential retail, outdoor hospitality, personal care and other sectors are currently expected to reopen on Monday, 12 April.

To help businesses prepare for re-opening, the Public Protection Partnership and Bracknell Forest Council are holding two free webinars:

Both webinars will include guidance for relevant businesses. There will also be an opportunity for businesses to ask specific questions during the webinar or have individual conversations with council officers after the webinar.

The session is free and open to all Bracknell Forest businesses to attend.

Cllr Marc Brunel-Walker, Executive Member for Economic Development and Regeneration said:

“These free sessions are for any business in Bracknell Forest which would like more information about ways to reopen safely. We are keen to offer support and advice to ensure that businesses can open successfully and start the recovery process from the pandemic. I would urge any business who has questions to book a free place.”

Vicky Lister, Principal Trading Standards Officer said:

“Throughout the various restrictions the council’s Public Protection Service has sought to provide advice and support to businesses in the Borough. These are the latest in a series of business briefings which will be supplemented by more tailored business advice should a specific business need it.”

In addition to the webinar, businesses are encouraged to visit the council’s COVID-19 Help for Business webpages, which have further guidance and support.
