Retro roller rink coming to The Look Out

Visitors to The Look Out Discovery Centre will be able to let off a little steam this Jubilee weekend, as a roller rink will be coming to the centre.

Between Thursday 2 June and Sunday 5 June, guests can book a 25 minute skating session with their friends and family. The price will be £4 per skater or £7 for an adult and child combination ticket. Skating sessions will be running throughout the day with a 35-skater capacity per 25 minute session. Skate hire is included but skaters are allowed to bring their own skates.

The roller rink is part of The Look Out’s wider celebration of The Platinum Jubilee. This will include a special new menu inspired by Her Majesty The Queen. The new menu includes such royal delights as a coronation chicken sandwich and a selection of desserts to finish off with.

Cllr John Harrison, Executive Member for Culture, Delivery and Public Protection, said:

“The Look Out is one of the gems of Bracknell Forest and it is offering something a little different for The Platinum Jubilee. I’m sure children will welcome the chance to burn off a little energy and I’m certain that parents will sneakily enjoy it as well. Visitors wishing to relax can enjoy the delicious Jubilee themed menu in the picturesque surroundings. There is something for everyone to enjoy this Jubilee weekend at The Look Out.

“I’d like to thank everyone for arranging this special attraction. I'd like to offer congratulations to Her Majesty The Queen on her Platinum Jubilee.”
