A royal opening for Heathlands

We are honoured to announce that HRH The Duke of Gloucester will officially open the borough’s new Heathlands facility on Tuesday 17 May 2022.

Heathlands is providing specialist services to patients with intermediate care and dementia care needs under one roof. It is a partnership project between Bracknell Forest Council, Frimley CCG, Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust and Windsar Care, allowing health and care staff to work together to benefit local people.

Heathlands will remain open to visitors of patients, but please be aware at certain times during the royal visit, access to the main entrance and key areas within the building may be temporarily restricted. This will only be for a few moments while His Royal Highness is shown these facilities.

Security will be in place to assist with the smooth running of the visit and staff will ensure patient care is not disrupted by the visit.

Please note, this is a closed visit so there will be no access for the general public, however, we will share information and images online as soon as we are able to following the visit.
