Bracknell Forest Giants return

Bracknell Forest Council and The Lexicon have teamed up to create a fabulous forest festival to celebrate the town centre’s fifth birthday.

Taking place throughout the town from Wednesday 24 August to Sunday 4 September 2022, the Bracknell Forest Festival family event will see the return of the hugely popular tree giants. In addition, this year brings beautiful forest seedling sprites, a unique immersive night forest experience and a fun filled programme full of entertainment, education, competitions and give-aways.

Rob Morris, general manager at The Lexicon said:

“Last year’s Bracknell Forest Giants proved so popular that we thought we would do it again, only bigger, better and with a whole host of new interactive elements befitting of our fifth birthday.”

There will be 2 new giants joining the 3 that visited the town centre last year. The event will finish with a spectacular special Birthday Proms event on Saturday 3 September 2022.

Cllr Marc Brunel-Walker, executive member for economic development and regeneration at Bracknell Forest Council said:

“Last year the ambition was to create a huge event that signalled the recovery from the pandemic. This year we wanted to build on the massive success of the Giants and go further in making sure that the event has a legacy. Without giving too much away, this year we have worked hard to make sure the event leaves a lasting impression in our beautiful borough.”

Further details will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
