It’s back to school time for adults too!

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new employability skills programme starting on Thursday 1 September.

Brought to you by Bracknell Forest Adult and Community Learning, the programme will offer a range of accredited courses.

Subjects on offer will include, business and customer service, mathematics, English and IT. Also on offer will be courses in health and safety, first aid and working in care.

And if that isn't enough, the team will be running classes on goal setting, motivation and building self-confidence.

Cllr Dr Gareth Barnard, executive member for children, young people and learning, said:

“With more opportunities in the job market, now is the ideal time to make sure that skills are up to date and it’s also the chance to retrain or even switch career. Why not take a look at the work skills courses that Community Learning has to offer?”

To enrol or to find out more about any of the courses on offer, visit our community learning courses or call 01344 354220.

You can also meet some of the tutors, get advice and try out some courses during our open day. Our open day will take place on Saturday 10 September from 10am to 2pm at Bracknell Open Learning Centre.
