Members of the public are invited to take part in a National Moment of Reflection at 8pm on Sunday, 18 September, to mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and to reflect on her life and legacy. This is the night before The Queen’s State Funeral and will be observed across the UK by a one-minute silence.
The silence can be marked privately at home, with friends and family, out on doorsteps or the street with neighbours, or at locally arranged community events and vigils.
Community groups, clubs and other organisations across the country are encouraged to take part.
