  • when: Thursday 19 January, between 4pm and 8pm
  • where: Time Square, Market Street, Bracknell RG12 1JD

Residents are invited to drop-in at any time during the event. Attendees parked in High Street car park will be able to get their tickets validated.

Some of the local organisations taking part currently include:

  • Bracknell Foodbank (with Christians Against Poverty)
  • Citizens Advice East Berkshire
  • The Cowshed
  • Family Information Service (Bracknell Forest Council)
  • Job Centre
  • NHS Talking Therapies Berkshire
  • Open Learning Centre
  • Stepping Stones Recovery College
  • Silva Homes
  • South East Water

There will also be representatives from the council to speak to about energy efficiency and the Household Support Fund. Other organisations may be added in the lead up to the day.

No referrals or direct support, such as food parcels, will be available at the event.

Cllr Dr Gareth Barnard, Executive Member for Children, Young People and Learning, said:

“As we move into the new year, following what has been a difficult winter for many so far, this informal event is offered to provide essential information and guidance at a critical time for those who need it most. The range of organisations attending will be able to offer guidance on many topics including benefits and jobs, debt and money management, mental, and physical health, community support and energy efficiency.”

“As we have previously said, do not hesitate to ask for help if you need it. Please reach out and attend this free session - no booking is needed. Just pop into the Time Square Community Winter Hub on Thursday 19 January, between 4pm and 8pm.”
