Do you have space to host a Ukrainian guest? Are you a pet friendly household and would love more animals in your home? Do you know someone happy to accept a resident and her dogs? Are you a pet friendly landlord with a property available to rent?
If so, then our resident, Anfisa Vlasova, is seeking urgent accommodation for her and her 4 adorable Yorkshire terriers.
Arriving as part of the Homes for Ukraine scheme, Anfisa has fallen in love with the borough. She is now seeking accommodation in Bracknell Forest or the neighbouring areas.
Cllr Paul Bettison OBE, Leader of Bracknell Forest Council, said:
“Since the scheme began, we have been amazed at the generosity of Bracknell Forest residents in welcoming our newest guests in to their home. And a lot of these have been extremely successful, with the vast majority extending beyond their initial 6-month commitment.
“Of course, where this is not possible, we will do everything we can to find a solution. So, that’s why I am again calling on the generosity of the borough.
“So, if you have the space, even for a short period of time, to host Anfisa and her adorable Yorkshire terriers, then we’d love to hear from you. We know it is an unusual request, but please do get in touch if you think you can help.”
Bracknell Forest Council is happy to discuss reimbursement options with a suitable candidate.
Some short checks will be needed prior to approval but, if you think you can help, please email Ukraine@bracknell-forest.gov.uk.
We would love to hear from you.
