Learners, teachers, volunteers and invited guests came together to enjoy a host of national dishes from around the world on the morning of Monday 13 March at Bracknell Open Learning Centre as the English Language Café celebrated its 10th anniversary.
Former learner, Vita Tunaite who progressed from studying with Community Learning to becoming a tutor for them, spoke to the group both in English and Russian about the beginnings of the café and her learning journey with them.
The English Language Café runs on Mondays and Thursdays, 10am to midday at Bracknell Open Learning Centre, Rectory Lane, Bracknell, RG12 7GR.
Designed for those who have English as an additional language, the café provides the opportunity to improve English conversation with the help of a tutor in a friendly, welcoming environment.
