Come and host an arrival from Ukraine

Have you ever wondered about hosting a new arrival from Ukraine but don't know where to start?

Do you wonder what support you can get if you decide to host a guest from Ukraine?

Are you unsure about the support available to you from Bracknell Forest Council if you open up your home to a new arrival?

Well, whatever you decide to do, we might have an answer for you.

Ask us your questions

We are looking for Bracknell Forest residents who are interested in hosting Ukrainian arrivals to the borough. This is either as a private landlord or someone with space in their own home.

We are hosting an online event where members from our Homes for Ukraine scheme will answer your questions about what hosting a Ukrainian arrival is like. This means that we can give you the information you need without you needing to come to Time Square.

Since forming in March 2022, the team have worked with hundreds of Ukrainian arrivals. We have also worked with the local Ukrainian community to help set up the Vsi Razom Community hub. This month, that project won a bronze certificate at the iESE awards in London and is a wonderful resource for Ukrainian guests and their hosts.

Hosts are eligible for a £500 tax free monthly thank you payment that doesn’t impact their council tax. They will receive regular engagement and support from the Homes for Ukraine team at Bracknell Forest Council.

If you're interested or know anyone who might be, we look forward to meeting you.

We’d love to give you as detailed an answer to each of your queries as you need. If you have a question you want to ask on the day, feel free to email Ukraine@bracknell-forest.gov.uk.
