The holiday activities and food (HAF) programme is funded by the Department for Education. It is designed to support children eligible for benefits related free school meals.
HAF runs during parts of the school holidays at:
- Easter - 4 sessions
- summer - 4 sessions for 4 weeks
- Christmas - 4 sessions
Each session lasts for at least 4 hours a day. As well as participating in enriching and exciting activities, most clubs will provide each child with a healthy free meal or snack.
HAF does not run during half terms.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the HAF programme your child must be:
- registered to receive benefits related free school meals
- attending a Bracknell Forest School
- in Reception to year 11
