How our virtual shows work
Our virtual shows are 30 minute online shows that are broadcast live to your class from our studio at The Look Out. We want to maximise interaction to enhance student engagement.
Once you have booked a show, we will have a short phone consultation with you about the video conferencing equipment you have available and to test out the technology. You will then be sent a link to an online meeting using your choice of either Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
We recommend that you log in slightly earlier than your arranged show time on the day to make sure everything is working and we will take it from there.

Fire and Light show
Our current show is Fire and Light. This show looks at the sources of light on our planet. It considers the properties of fire and how chemicals can react with each other.
Some of the things we will be looking at are:
- what a candle needs to keep burning
- which creatures create their own light
- what is the fire triangle
This show will excite your children while covering a range of basic scientific principles.
