We are inviting local residents to give their views on a new Biodiversity Action Plan for the borough.
Biodiversity is the variety of all life. The woodlands, parks, countryside and open spaces help make Bracknell Forest a place where families and individuals want to live.
The plan, which will cover a 6-year period, promotes people and organisations working together to deliver action for biodiversity locally. We will be working on local biodiversity initiatives in partnership with other organisations, volunteer groups and local communities on projects to improve and protect local wildlife.
Cllr Iain McCracken, executive member for executive member for culture, resources & public protection, said:
“We want our residents to continue to enjoy the wonderful natural environment that Bracknell Forest offers and this new plan demonstrates our continuing commitment to protecting and enhancing biodiversity.”
“Your comments and views are important to us so please let us hear them via our online consultation questionnaire.”
You can access a copy of the new plan, and submit your feedback via our consultation questionnaire. The closing date for feedback was Monday 2 April.
