Bracknell Forest Council and the Economic Skills and Development Partnership (ESDP) have joined forces to run a photo competition that celebrates Bracknell Forest as a great place to live and work.

The competition, which is free to enter, asks amateur photographers to capture images of the borough to reflect the theme ‘A Great Place to Grow’. Photographers can each submit up to 10 images covering a wide range of topic areas, including work, education, leisure, open spaces and the built environment.

There are exciting prizes up for grabs across the 3 competition categories including one for adults, one for young people under the age of 18 and an ESDP Merit Prize Winner for business / workplace environment.

Cllr Iain McCracken, executive member for culture, resources & public protection, said:

"It's great to have a photo competition that highlights all that Bracknell Forest has to offer both for business and leisure.

We know from previous competitions that there are some very talented photographers in the borough, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what they come up with!"

Bob Collis chair of Bracknell Forest’s ESDP and keen amateur photographer said:

“I am so pleased that we are joining with Bracknell Forest Council to run the competition.

The ESDP promotes the continued economic growth of Bracknell Forest, and this year’s theme will provide an ideal opportunity for photographers to illustrate the many facets of growth in our local community.

I’m looking forward to seeing some imaginative and creative photographs! Good luck to all those who enter.”

Details of how to enter the competition, including full terms and conditions can be found on our photo competition page.
