Placing temporary signs licence

Apply for this licence if you wish to place temporary directional signage within Bracknell Forest as per Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions (TSRGD).

Fee

The licence to place temporary signs on the highway (per 6 months or part thereof) is £443 plus £67 per site (£470 plus £71 per site from 1 April 2024).

You will need to pay online for this application. We will send an email to the relevant payee confirming the amount once you have applied.

The penalty for placing temporary signs on the highway without authorisation or licence is £735 plus £67 per sign removed (£780 plus £71 per sign removed from 1 April 2024).
