Monday 17 February - Natural History Society - Wildlife and Geology of Iceland and Norway
The Bracknell Forest Natural History Society invites you to a talk on the Wildlife and Geology of Iceland and Norway with David Phillips, Naturetrek’s tour leader and expert naturalist.
When: Monday 17 February, 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Doors open 7:15pm.
Where to meet: South Hill Park Arts Centre, Ringmead, Bracknell, RG12 7PA.
Cost: Membership is £12 per year with an entrance fee of £1 for evening meetings – or come along as a visitor and pay £3 for the evening. Under 16 free. No booking required.
Tuesday 18 February - half term wildlife workshop at Horseshoe Lake
Learn a range of outdoor skills including how to build, light and load a bonfire. Learn the safe way to cut down small trees and find out why this helps wildlife. Discover the best way to roast marshmallows on an open fire. Tools and refreshments provided. Please bring gloves, outdoor clothing and wellies! Best suited for 7yrs+.

Tuesday 18 February - volunteer led walk - Shepherds Meadow and around
Join us for a volunteer led walk at Shepherds Meadow and around. This is a rambler walk and will last up to 5 and a half miles or 2 hour 15 minutes.

Wednesday 19 February - help a hedgehog
An event for families or those interested in helping hedgehogs. Learn how to build a hedgehog house plus enjoy an explorer trail around Peacock Meadows, crafts and hands-on information.
When: Wednesday 19 February, 10:30am to midday.
Where to meet: Jennett’s Park car park, off Swift fields, Bracknell, RG12 8DY.
Friday Nordic walking - Swinley Forest
Each session is led by a qualified and insured instructor and includes a warm up, technique review/focus, a 2 to 2.5 mile walk and cool down and stretch. It is very social, allowing you to walk and talk and lots of fun. Find out more on our Facebook page.
