A322 Bagshot Road, Bracknell Road and A332 Swinley Road

Temporary 40 mph speed limit

Bracknell Forest Council is making an order, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The order will stop any vehicle from travelling over 40 mph along the following roads:

  • north-westwards bound on A322 Bagshot Road from its roundabout junction with A322 Swinley Road north-westwards for a distance of approximately 1150 metres
  • north-westwards bound on A322 Bracknell Road from its roundabout junction with A322 Swinley Road south-eastwards for a distance of approximately 300 metres
  • the circulatory carriageway of the roundabout junction of A322 Bagshot Road/Bracknell Road and A332 Swinley Road
  • the A332 Swinley Road from its roundabout junction with A322 Bagshot Road northwards for a distance of approximately 150 metres

The purpose of this order is to allow safe access to land next to the A322 Bagshot Road for a sports event.

Timescales

The proposed order will start on the 10 October 2020 and will last no more than 6 months.

It is planned that the temporary speed limit will be in place between 10 October and 11 October 2020.

This order will only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
