This project delivers significant improvements to one of the key highway corridors in the Thames Valley Berkshire.
The project will significantly help in terms of accommodating movements and reducing congestion between:
- the M4 (J8/9/10) and M3 (J4)
- Maidenhead
- Reading
- Wokingham
- Bracknell
- Camberley and Blackwater Valley
Improvements include extending dualling of Crowthorne Road and capacity improvements to the Hut (Golden Retriever) junction and Hanworth roundabout.
Works will relieve current and forecast congestion and provide more reliable journey times benefitting the economy in Bracknell Forest borough and the Thames Valley region.
