The benefit cap is a limit on the total amount of benefit you can get. It applies to most people aged 16 or over who have not reached State Pension age.

There will be no change to the cap between 1 April 2024 and 1 April 2025.
If you are likely to be paid more in benefits than the amounts above then a deduction will be made from your housing benefit.
