The Youth Employment Hub is a free service to support young people who are looking for work, training or direction.
We offer friendly one-to-one support in a safe and welcoming space.
Who the hub is for
The hub is for young people who are:
- aged 18 to 24
- receiving universal credit
- Bracknell Forest residents
- unemployed, underemployed or not currently in education or training
If you want support with jobs, training or career options, we can help. You don’t have to know exactly what you want to do - we’re here to help you figure it out.
Types of support
One-to-one support
We offer one-to-one support in a friendly environment.
You’ll work with staff who take time to understand your goals and help you move forward at your own pace.
We can help you to:
- find a job, apprenticeship or work experience
- write a CV and prepare job applications
- prepare for interviews
- build confidence and motivation
- build your digital and employability skills
- explore training and education options
Employer events
The hub hosts:
- employer talks
- industry insight events
- recruitment workshops
- opportunities to meet local businesses
These events can help you:
- understand what employers are looking for
- ask questions in a supportive setting
- build confidence to speak to employers
- access real job and training opportunities

You can get support from the hub through a referral from JobCentre Plus.

You can also ask your work coach, school, college or support worker to refer you.
Location
The hub is based at the Open Learning Centre, which:
- is a safe and welcoming place
- has private spaces for confidential conversations

- council services offering housing, financial support and wellbeing
