Chapels

Lectern in Wellington Chapel.

The Braccan

The Braccan is the original chapel. It has a traditional feel with its rich pine panelling and generous lighting. There is an atmosphere of warmth and serenity. There is a choice of voile or velvet curtains for the moment of committal.

Along with the music options, the Braccan also has an organ for use during services.

A microphone is available in the chapel, located at the lectern. A hand-held radio microphone is also available for speakers wishing to move around. There is also a hearing loop system.

The Braccan chapel can seat up to 98 people and there is room for a further 100 standing.

Wellington Chapel

Entry to the Wellington chapel is through an oak and glass panelled door. The focus of this chapel is a large glass apex which gives it a light and airy feel. The high windows also let in a perfect amount of natural light. This chapel is contemporary and modern in design.

The Wellington has 112 seats and standing room for a further 38.

A TV screen either side allows you to have visual tributes during the service. We have installed a state-of-the-art sound system to complement your chosen music. A hand-held radio microphone is available for speakers wishing to move around.

There is no organ in the Wellington.

There is a choice of translucent voiles or thick green curtains for the moment of committal.

Those with hearing aids can use the induction loop system during the service. They will need to set their device to the ‘T’ position or own specific setting.

Both chapels have regulated air conditioning and heating.
