At the end of 2021, Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) carried out a joint inspection of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) provision in Bracknell Forest.
On 22 February 2022, the inspectors issued their findings. They identified 9 areas of significant weakness.
The Written Statement of Action (WSOA) outlines steps that will be taken to remedy these.
These steps will be taken by Bracknell Forest Council and Frimley Health and Care Integrated Care System (ICS).
Ofsted have endorsed this action plan.
As well as areas for development and improvement, areas of strength were identified. Plans are in place to build upon these too.
