Developed a new Climate Change Strategy and delivery plan for 2025 to 2030.

34 households were supported by Green Doctor, a free energy advice service. This resulted in 9 tonnes of emissions savings and £4,423 of financial savings.

377,755 sustainable miles logged through the Eco Rewards and Love to Ride schemes this year.

Bikeability training delivered to 1,212 children. 168 young people engaged in a bike maintenance project.

Switched 2 ranger vehicles from diesel to HVO fuel and successfully trialled HVO in a waste vehicle, reducing its emissions by 78%.

The council and The Lexicon were recognised as a Bees’ Needs Champion 2024.

Collected 2.3 tonnes of small electrical items, 1.6 tonnes of clothing and a large amount of vapes and domestic batteries at our ‘Recycling Day’.

20 council staff members gained carbon literacy accreditation.

22 households received energy efficiency upgrades through Home Upgrade Grant and Warm Safe and Well funding.

Delivered retrofit works to 8 council and school properties.

17 workplaces took part in ‘Cycle September’ recording over 1800 rides.
