Services provided

Crowthorne Parish Council provides:

• a garden waste sack buying point
• a local information service – parish council office, website, provision of 4 notice boards and social media feeds
• administration and maintenance of the Walter Recreation Ground Charity (which includes Circle Hill)
• administration of the Crowthorne Educational Charity, to promote the education of people  living in the parish of Crowthorne
• annual provision and replenishment of additional salt bins in Crowthorne
• community grants to local charities and organisations
• maintenance of the street lamp at the Lych Gate at St. John's church
• maintenance of the Millennium Garden, seating, bins and lighting
• monthly public surgeries - first Saturday of each month at Crowthorne library, 11am to midday
• Morgan Centre and recreation ground hire
• Morgan Centre car park, security barrier, lighting and free car parking
• Morgan ground recreational use; including play and fitness equipment, basketball court, football pitch, seating, bins, bike racks, fencing, changing rooms and public toilets
• parish hall and conference room hire with rear garden
• provision of annual Christmas tree and lighting
• support towards Christmas street decorations, Edgbarrow Sports Centre, and Borough Pathways Officer
• organisation of community events, such as late night Christmas shopping, Silver Sunday and coronation celebrations

• maintenance of lamp post at the Lych Gate War Memorial
• Millennium Garden
• Morgan Centre Car Park
• Morgan Centre with public toilet and changing room facilities
• Morgan Recreation Ground, play/fitness areas and basketball court
• Parish Hall including conference rooms
• Walter Recreation Ground and Circle Hill
• market - Morgan Recreation Ground every Friday and Sunday 9am to 2pm
