Why we work with partner organisations
Bracknell Forest Community Learning subcontracts community learning provision to partners within Bracknell Forest. Commissioning activity allows us to attract a new and broader range of clients and access new areas of learning. It also allows us to access “contributions in kind” and develop activity delivered in the community.
We only subcontract with organisations who can demonstrate high quality delivery and we check performance through robust contract monitoring procedures.

Involve Community Services
We have a maximum contract value of £15,000 in 2025 to 2026.

Involve provision includes training for community, charity and voluntary organisations.
Payments
In the grant year 2023 to 2024, we made the following payments:
- Involve: £15,000
We do not keep any Department for Education (DfE) funding to cover our management fees. Payment terms are 28 days from the submission of invoice.
How we choose our partners
We will publicise tendering opportunities by approaching organisations who work with our target groups.
We carry out due diligence checks as advised by our procurement team.
How we support our partners
We support our partners with:
- robust quality assurance
- networking opportunities
- helping to identify suitable learning aims
- regular updates on funding and learning developments
We support the quality of teaching and learning of our subcontractors with:
- regular training sessions
- developmental observations of teaching and learning
- sharing of good practice and new developments
This policy is reviewed on an annual basis.
