Find your polling station

A polling station is where you go to cast your vote during an election. Polling stations are often located in churches, community centres, council buildings and occasionally schools.

Find your local polling station

If you do not wish to vote at your allotted polling station you can apply to vote by post or vote by proxy (appoint someone to vote for you).

Review of polling districts and places

The Electoral Administration Act 2006 requires the council to undertake a review of its polling districts. The last review was completed in 2018.

See the review of polling districts and places page for more information.
