Community meals

There are organisations that can provide meals to people who have difficulty preparing a meal in their own homes.

These providers can either deliver food to your home or offer meals at trusted venues.

Organisations

A meal delivery service is available from Bridges Home Care. They offer hot and cold meals delivered to your home, all year around.

You can find more food support services on our community map. Use the filters tab and select "Get help - food support".

More information

When getting meals delivered, choose a provider that checks its drivers with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

You do not need an assessment from Adult Social Care services to access these services.

We do not give financial help with buying meals. You will need to pay for your meals as well as any other related costs, like travel expenses.
