Smokefreelife Berkshire is the council’s free stop smoking service, available to anyone who lives or works in Bracknell Forest.
Smokefreelife Berkshire offers evidence-based:
- 12 weeks behavioural support either
- face-to-face
- by phone
- free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) - Zyban, Cytisine or Varenicline
- vapes for smoking cessation support
- QuitWithBella.com - your AI-powered personal stop smoking robo-coach
Service users who have completed the 12-week stop smoking programme will also be offered one-off support in helping them to become nicotine free.
The service also provides support for individuals who would like to temporarily quit smoking for a period of time or to reduce their tobacco intake. This includes:
- support to cut down or temporarily stop smoking
- regular reviews to support progress towards quitting
- the option to re-engage with the service at a later stage
Vaping
The service provides stop vaping support for the following groups:
- young people aged 12 to 18
- adults with health or respiratory conditions
This includes:
- one-to-one support
- quit tools
- behaviour change guidance
