We have a small number of private sector lease scheme properties and continue to seek suitable properties when demand arises.
Incentives
The benefit of a private sector lease is that you will only be responsible for structural repairs for the duration of the lease.
Day to day maintenance and tenancy management is carried out by our experienced housing management team and external contractors.
A formal lease agreement between tenant and landlord will be drawn up by a legal professional and entered into for an agreed duration.
Rental expectations
For all private sector leases, rental will be set at the Local Housing Allowance rate. You can find Local Housing Allowance rates on the Directgov website.
Rent will be paid to you on a monthly basis direct from Bracknell Forest Council as described in the lease agreement.
Our leased properties are used for short term temporary lets and are frequently inspected during vacant periods.
