Birthday parties

Children love birthday parties at The Look Out.

Our parties are great for children aged between 5 and 12 years old.

What you get

Every party at The Look Out receives:

  • a party host for the duration of your 2 hour long event
  • a greeting with our mascot Eric the Owl
  • a birthday present for the birthday child
  • over an hour exploring in the exhibition
  • an option of science demo or stick insect handling session
  • time in the party room for your food and birthday cake 
  • invitations emailed to you to distribute to your guests

There is a minimum of 10 children and a maximum of 20. This includes the birthday child.

Times

Parties take place on Saturdays and Sundays from:

  • 10am to midday
  • 2pm to 4pm

Supervision

You need bring the following ratios of supervising adults (free of charge):

  • 10 children - minimum 2 adults
  • 11 to 15 children - minimum 3 adults
  • 16 to 20 children - minimum 4 adults

The party host is not responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the party children. This responsibility lies with the supervising adults. Additional adult helpers are allowed.

The cost per child is £14.95
