Home Library Service

The Home Library Service provides free, regular deliveries to customers unable to leave their home.

Items we provide include:

A member of the team will visit you in your home to find out more about you and your reading interests. A selection of materials carefully chosen with you in mind will then be delivered.

Deliveries are made every 3 weeks to exchange with the items you have borrowed.

Using the Home Library Service

The Home Library Service is available to anyone living in the borough who is unable to visit a library and is temporarily or permanently housebound.

This could be due to:

  • mobility issues
  • caring responsibilities
  • hospitalisation

We know that there are many things that may prevent you from accessing our library sites. If this service could be of benefit to you, even in the short term, get in touch.
