The R-Bus is a bus service for adults with learning disabilities and their carers, who are resident in the Bracknell Forest area.
The R-Bus picks you up from your home and will take you anywhere you want to go within the Bracknell Forest area.
When it runs
The R-Bus runs on weekdays from 9am to 10pm. It does not run on weekends or bank holidays.
Costs
The cost of a trip is £2.20.
Escorts and carers travel for free. Please tell us if your escort or carer is travelling with you when you make a booking.
You can buy R-Bus trips:
- by calling the Transport Team on 01344 352095
- from Customer Services at Time Square
You can buy 10 trips or more at a time. The trips are put onto your e+ card (if you don't have one you will need to apply for an e+ card).
How to book
To book a trip you can:
- email details of your booking to rbus@bracknell-forest.gov.uk
- call the Transport Team on 01344 352095
The office is open between 8.30am and 5pm each day.
You will need to make your booking by 3pm the day before you travel (or by 3pm on a Friday if you want to travel on a Monday)
The Transport Team will keep a record of the journeys that you do. They will remind you when you need to buy more trips.
Cancellations
You will need to cancel your booking by 3pm on the day before you are due to travel (or by 3pm on a Friday if you were travelling on a Monday).
It is very important that you cancel journeys if you do not want to travel anymore. If you do not, you will be charged for the price of the trip.
