If your children are home schooled, then home educator days are for you.
We organise a number of days a year when home educators are given priority access to the science exhibition.
You will be able to enjoy the hands-on science exhibition and book extra activities such as discovery shows or backpacks on the day.
These shows and activities are suitable for primary school age children.

A 40 minute workshop all about animals and their habitats and how they survive in the wild!

A 40 minute show all about the science of superpowers, such as how to turn things invisible!

A 40 minute show all about light and sound, such as how rainbows are made and what sound is!
Date: Friday 27 February
Backpacks with differentiated activities designed to be undertaken at various stops on a forest trial. There is a nature explorers backpack for Key Sage 1 and a material detectives backpack for Key Stage 2.

A 40 minute show all about light and sound, such as how rainbows are made and what sound is!
Date: Friday 9 January
An hour long workshop with 30 minutes in the classroom learning about bugs and 30 minutes outside in the forest catching them!
All shows and activity hire are £2.20 per child.
Please note a £1 booking fee is applied to online bookings.

Our nature explorers backpacks are aimed at 4 to 8 year olds and our materials detectives are aimed at 8 to 11 year olds.
Backpacks are self-led experiences. They cost £2.20 per child.
