ESOL for beginners: entry 3 - Reading

A recognised accredited course for students with English as a second or other language with a separate certificate for each module.

Reading:

Be able to gain meaning from text, understand the purpose of text, find information in a text, order alphabetically

Entry requirements

Entry 2 ESOL certificate or BKSB assessment initial and diagnostic assessment.

Material required for the course

Folder, pens, paper, use of a computer for online classes

Teaching method

Q & A, discussion, pair work, group work, role play, Zoom discussion, directed tasks, homework,

It is expected that students will have 2 hours homework per week to complete tasks, learning and revision
