
This course teaches you professional skills required by today’s employers.
This includes:
- routine office admin tasks
- communication with customers
- how to organise and run a meeting
You will also develop a personal progression plan to advance your career in business.
A career in business admin is versatile and provides foundational skills that are transferable and thus enhance employability. Business administrator jobs include Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, Data Entry Clerk and Receptionist roles.
How to enrol
To enrol on this course you need to attend our job club.
Induction day
The induction on 26 January between 10am and 1pm.
Entry requirements
No prior knowledge, understanding, skills or qualifications are required for learners to register for this qualification.
Material required for the course
Your tutor will discuss requirements on the course induction day,
Teaching method
Learning will take place in a classroom.
You will work individually or as part of a group, depending on requirements of the task.
Visual aids, discussion, debates and practical tasks will be used throughout the programme.
Assessment
You will be supported by a tutor and will need to do some independent work for homework.
The qualification is assessed by means of a portfolio of evidence. Assessment is by means of assignments (tasks) collated into the portfolio of evidence. This portfolio can be done manually (in a folder) or electronically.
