
Join watercolour for beginners and learn the basics. This includes colour mixing, techniques, brushes and paper varieties.
You will complete a simple project using the techniques learnt.
This course is suitable for complete beginners or for those who have completed a watercolour course before and wish to develop their watercolour skills.
By the end of the course learners will be able to:
- demonstrate at least 3 different watercolour techniques
- mix at least 3 different colours using watercolour paint
- trace (or draw) an image onto watercolour paper
- complete at least one image using the techniques learnt

There are no entry requirements for this course. It is suitable for beginners and improvers.

How is your progress checked
An initial assessment will be carried out for each leaner to assess their current knowledge and starting point and what they would like to achieve on the course.
Individual help and instruction will be provided to each learner to support their progress.
