Mum and baby yoga offers a holistic approach to postnatal wellness, addressing the physical, emotional and social needs of both mother and baby.

This is a specialized course designed to support mothers in their postnatal recovery journey while providing a nurturing and enriching experience for their babies.
This course integrates gentle yoga practices, breathing techniques, and interactive bonding exercises to promote physical, emotional, and social wellbeing for both mother and baby.
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- empower mothers with safe and effective yoga practices tailored to the postnatal period
- facilitate bonding and connection between mothers and their babies through shared yoga experiences
- enhance physical recovery and strengthen core muscles, including the pelvic floor and abdominal areas
- cultivate mindfulness skills for stress reduction and emotional resilience
- support babies' motor skills development and sensory exploration through gentle movement and touch
- provide a supportive community for mothers to share experiences and build relationships with other caregivers
- promote overall well-being for mothers and babies through holistic yoga practices

There is no entry requirement for this course.
Material required for the course
Come in comfortable clothing and bring a blanket for your baby to lie on.
Teaching method
Suitable for parents and carers with babies:
- under 6 months old
- older than 6 months that aren’t yet crawling
How is your progress checked
There is no formal assessment. Questions can be asked throughout the course and the tutor will assist learners further if needed.
