Monday 18 September - Natural History Society talks - British Moths

Join us for an illustrated talk by Jan Haseler on British Moths. This is part of the Bracknell Forest Natural History Society talks. Visitors are welcome and there is no need to book.

When to meet

Monday 18 September at 7:30pm (doors open at 7:15pm).

The talk will end at 9:30pm.

Cost

Membership is £12 per year with an entrance fee of £1 for evening meetings – or come along as a visitor and pay £3 for the evening.

Tuesday 19 September - Ranger led walk in Chapel Green

Join us for a ranger led walk in Chapel Green and back. This is a ramblers walk - it is up to 7 miles and will last up to 3 hours.

The walk is dog friendly - please keep dogs on a lead.

Saturday 23 September - Wonderful Wild Service Trees at Jocks Lane

Join us for an autumnal woodland stroll and help us collect seed from the Wild Service Tree to preserve this important species for future generations.

Saturday 23 September at 10:30am.

The walk will end at about midday.

Join us for a ranger led walk in Lily Hill Park. This is a leisurely walk - it is up to 2 miles and will last up to one hour.

Join us for outdoor photography in the beautiful landscape of South Hill Park. This is suitable for beginners.

Please bring a camera. A tripod may also be useful if you have one.

Individual walks and talks from rangers

Organised groups can request a ranger to lead a walk or talk about a site or activity managed by our Parks and Countryside Service.

Please note, however, that the availability of rangers is very limited and usually targeted towards local community groups.
