Experience the amazing world of fungi in this popular guided walk, led by local enthusiast Gordon Crutchfield.

Wednesday 14 November – ranger led walk - Pope’s and Amen Corner wander

Celebrate self-care week and join us for a ranger led countryside walk of up to 4 miles.

When: Wednesday 14 November, 11am to 12:15pm.

Monday 19 November – Natural History Society – a talk on Nepal

The Bracknell Forest Natural History Society invites you to a talk on 'Magnificent Nepal' by Chris Chadwell. 

When: Monday 19 November, 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

Where to meet: Recital Room at South Hill Park, Ringmead, Bracknell, RG12 7PA.

Cost: Membership is £12 per year with an entrance fee of £1 for evening meetings – or come along as a visitor and pay £3 for the evening.

Tuesday 20 November - volunteer led walk - Around Broadmoor

Join us for a volunteer led walk. This is a rambler walk - it is up to 5 1/2 miles and will last up to 2 hours 15 minutes.

Saturday 15 December - Heathland Magic at Wildmoor Heath

Try your hand at harvesting birch trees to help conserve this precious site. Enjoy a bonfire, marshmallows and possibly take home your own Christmas tree. Tools and refreshments provided. Please bring work gloves. Suitable for all.

Individual walks and talks from rangers

Organised groups can request a ranger to lead a walk or talk about a site or activity managed by our Parks and Countryside Service.

Please note, however, that the availability of rangers is very limited and usually targeted towards local community groups.
