Location: from Downmill Road to the south and Western Road to the north.
Date: from Monday 10 August 2026 for up to 5 days.
Reason: for public safety while contractors carry out necessary maintenance and remedial works adjacent the footpath.
Alternative route: a temporary diversion follows urban footway along Longshot Lane and is signposted throughout the closure. A map is included in the document below.

Bracknell Footpath 5
Location: entire length of the footpath, from the west side of Doncastle Road with the junction of the A329M to Peacock Lane.
Date: from Wednesday 1 July 2026 for up to 6 months.
Reason: for public safety until the route is made safe.
Alternative route: a temporary diversion runs south through Wykery Copse greenspace and along footways of neighbouring roads Browning Copse, Butler Drive and Peacock Lane. A map is included in the document below.
