The application process was open from 12 September 2022 to 31 October 2022. Any applications submitted now will be considered as late.

Make a late application

Please make sure you read all the information below before filling in your application.

This process is for Bracknell Forest residents only. If you are not a Bracknell Forest resident, you will need to apply to your home local authority. You must apply to your home local authority no matter what school you wish to apply for.

Supporting documents should be submitted alongside your application. These can also be emailed to the above email address.

School Admissions will not confirm what documents you need to submit to support your application. It is your responsibility as the applicant to read the admission arrangements for your preferred schools and submit any additional documents needed. Late applications

These are applications received after the closing date of 31 October 2022.

If you are moving to Bracknell Forest before 31 December 2022, please contact School Admissions for advice.

Please make sure all your supporting documents are submitted with your application.

You should check your emails regularly. School Admissions may contact you for further information to verify your application.

Receiving your offer

Applications received after 31 October 2022 will be considered as late. These applications will be processed in the second round of admissions. This means your application will be processed from 15 March 2023 (after the initial round of admissions).

This may affect your offer of a school place should your preferred schools remain full following the initial round of admissions.

You will receive your offer of a school place by email from 15 March 2023.

If you choose to receive an offer letter rather than an email, this will be posted from 15 March 2023.

Applications are processed from 15 March 2023, you are not guaranteed to receive your offer on this date.

Please make sure the email address used is accessible. If you choose to receive an offer by letter note that there will be delay in receiving their offer. School Admissions will not confirm the offer of a school place over the phone. 

Late applications received after 15 March 2023 will be processed as and when received.

After receiving your offer

When you receive your offer, you need to finalise your application by accepting or refusing the school place offered. This must be completed by the deadline provided in your offer letter.

Failure to do so may result in the school place being withdrawn.

You will get further details with your offer.

If your child does not start at the allocated school at the beginning of the autumn term (September 2023), this school place will be withdrawn.

You should always inform School Admissions if the school place allocated is no longer required.

On time applications

You will receive your offer of a school place by email on 1 March 2023.

If you choose to receive a letter rather than an email, your offer letter will be posted on 1 March 2023. You will receive your offer shortly after this date.
