Use this form to apply for post-16 transport support. You should use this form if you are:
- applying for education transport assistance
- the student is over 16 and has an Education and Healthcare Plan
Make sure that you have read the post-16 travel policy before completing this form.
Financial contribution for 2023 to 2024
Parents and guardians need to make a financial contribution towards the transport costs.
Students under low income criteria:
- annual: £390
- termly: £130
Students not under low income criteria:
- annual: £780
- termly: £260
Instalment dates:
- August 2023 - before the start of transport for the autumn term
- December 2023 - before the start of the Spring term 2024
- During Easter holiday break - before the start of the summer term 2024

If your application is successful you will be contacted by the Education Transport team who will confirm the amount payable and how to pay.
